About Us
Introducing Hut and Tanya Your Harvest Agri Tour Hosts
Hut and Tanya met in the village of Khao Suan Kwang, Thailand in 2012, married in 2014 and lived in Hervey Bay,Qld for almost 10 years. They then found a 1.3 acre block at Manyung in the South Burnett where they settled into country life with their 2 dogs, 1 duck, 1 rooster and 6 chickens in 2022. They hope to add 2 Dorpers to their collection of pets soon and Huts dream is to have a Buffalo.
Life and Family
Hut is a quiet, kind man who has been a farm hand in Thailand on Sugar Cane and Casava farms of local villagers. In Australia he's worked at Childers with Snow Peas, Maryborough with Macadamia and Moffatdale with Olive Trees and at Vineyards. He is a lover of country life and has a certificate in Agriculture. Tanya is a people person and has been a Community Development worker for NGO's, peak bodies and disability organisations for over 20 years. Tanya has 7 adult children and 3 grand daughters. Together they bring their joint passions to Harvest Agri Tours.

After moving to Manyung, Tanya participated in the Red Earth Community Foundations Leadership program. During the program, Tanya shared the idea of tours in the South Burnett. With passion for the area, desire for local economic growth, the commitment and collaboration of the diverse farming, artisan and producer community, Harvest Agri Tours began.
